2011 in full swing and injury!

Well January has nearly come to an end, and I've finally healed from all the damage I did to myself this month.  Falling down the steps, twice, deep sprains on both feet, and beveling a corner off of my finger, to be precise.  I'm hoping that was just this year getting all of that out of its system.

LOTS going on right now, but unfortunately not a whole lot to show for it at the moment.   Many things are in process, and in a sort of "incubation" period before they come to the forefront.  I can announce  shows that I'll be participating in, at least:

March 12: Inlé show at Gallery 1988, Los Angeles, curated by Greg "Craola" Simkins
March 18: "Soft" Plush exhibition at My Plastic Heart, NYC
May 12: Sculpture group show, Bold Hype Gallery, NYC
July 9: Group show with Doktor A, Chris Ryniak, and Lana Crooks, OhNoDOOM!, Chicago

There will be some smatterings of self-releases in there, a plush edition and a cast-resin brooch edition, but I have to figure out when I can squeeze them in!

I'll post again soon, but I'll leave you with some photos of my recent life...

Little guy I finished up for a commission...on his way to live on a goat farm!
Sketching patterns for a stop-motion film puppet...

He keeps me company while I play video games.

He greets me whenever I come down the stairs.

"Tundra", from the Soft Served show at OhNoDOOM

Hundreds and hundreds of flavored lip balms, ready to be labeled and wrapped...

the most exciting part of this post for me is the plans for a stop motion puppet! i know anything ready to screen for audiences is a long ways away, but i would love to show it at my old theatre someday! :)
