Week in Photos: March 9, 2014

This week, things got serious. Took on a couple new projects (I'll "make time", right?!) and, after seeing just how long my to-do list is, got busy working to clear it. September may seem far away now, but I know how these things go, and need to make sure I clear the decks as soon as I can, so I can focus on the big show coming up.

This week's sketching is yielding some great new characters!
Made some "mysterious dice" as props for the upcoming
Secret Society Sale.
Though this looks like a snowy field, it's actually a frozen Lake Erie.

The tiniest pancake (before I snarfed it down), even has
a cute little heart on it!
Attended a bridal shower and became the hesitant guardian
of an orchid. Hope I can keep you alive, buddy.

  1. Orchids are easy maintenance, well bridal orchids are the easiest (says she who has a bundle of orchids ;) ). Just casually ignore it. Give it water every 7 to 10 days. They like plant food during flowering season.

  2. Oooh! I love the sketches (want that as a border around my livingroom). The teeny pancake looks like a British crumpet, minisized. Nummy! The orchid is magnificent and I'm sure you'll make a wonderful orchid-mom. And those dice? Those are just so wonderful! I'm going to rush off, and make some for my D&D playing Hubby!
